I am Teaching an Anatomy Lab for Yoga Teachers and Students
Albert Stern
I will be teaching a cadaver-based anatomy lab for yoga teachers (and students) this May.
For the last year, I have been collaborating with Bev Boyer of Colorado Learning Center of Human Anatomy teaching cadaver classes for acupuncturists. After doing the yoga teacher training earlier this year we thought it would great to offer a similar class for yoga teachers.
This is the class description:
This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and students to explore the anatomy of the human body. We first honor and respect the donor and history of the body which will be our teacher. The bulk of the class will be devoted to exploring the superficial and deep muscles of the body. We will walk through the primary muscles of Sun Salutation A and other common yoga poses. We will also explore the internal organs and their relationship to chakras. Those attending are encouraged to palpate although it is not required.
The workshop: May 23, 2016. 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Cost is $50.00
