I was marveling at these amazing photographs of the ocean texture today. So rich and complex. They truly bring me back to my childhood with the ocean.
Researching the photographer who took these images blew me away. They are not photographs, rather the images are super sophisticated computer renderings.
The fact that the ocean could be rendered so delicately and powerfully is simply amazing.
These images were created by Lee Griggs. Mr. Griggs works with a rendering platform called Arnold. This rendering tool has been used to create the effects in movies such as Gravity, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars The Force Awakens. Mr. Griggs creates tutorials about how to use this platform.
