The Healing Bodywork of Albert Stern
Albert Stern offers acupuncture, visceral manipulation, and craniosacral therapy in northwest Denver, Wheatridge and Boulder. He is an acupuncture instructor at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Southwest Acupuncture College. He teaches anatomy at Peak Research Institute. He focuses on pain management, anxiety, digestive issues, and cancer support.
The healing work I do is an integration of a variety of techniques designed to free the body from pain, dysfunction and stressful patterns. All treatment sessions are based on the Chinese principles which underlie traditional acupuncture.
In addition, I fully engage the body through applying the hands-on work of french physiotherapist and osteopath, Jean-Pierre Barral. This work, visceral manipulation, requires scanning the body precisely for subtle moments or restrictions.
I also incorporate the craniosacral work of the osteopathic physician, Dr. John Upledger. This gentle, hands-on work allows the spine and entire nervous system to more effectively function.
Working with the entire body, front to back and head to toe, I am able to bring deep healing to each client. Applying energetic principles from a variety of traditions allows the entire body to release, heal, and open to new possibilities.
My sessions blend treatment styles based on the individual needs of each client. Of course, full sessions of one modality are available as well. It is always a matter of client preference and need. Read about the typical conditions I treat.
